Its your comparison. The cheapest Mac costs about $800 less than the cheapest iPhone. So you're more likely to see a kid running around with an iPod touch that his parents bought him than with a Mac. So I'm not surprised with this obvious statistic because an iDevice is 1/5 the price of a Mac. Its like saying jelly doughnuts sell more quantities than luxury cars because the luxury cars are overpriced. You are comparing apples to oranges here.
