I have an unjailbroken 8 gig Touch, and am wondering about spring cleaning it's hard drive.

i use it daily for internet browsing and playing apps and sending/receiving emails from my yahoo account. After over a year of this i'm sure there's a load of 'crap' on the hard drive that surely can be cleaned off or erased?

on my pc i'd run ccleaner and defrag. is there anything i can do on my Touch like this that'll spring clean the system? or dont i need to? just deleting internet history and cookies isn't really going to create much space.

The device doesn't have a hard drive.

It's a MAC! You don't have to defrag!

But a flash disk is not a hard drive

i suppose a restore couldn't be much harm
particularly with a new firmware out
