MW3 Multiplayer! Source: Kotaku It seems as a lot of details regarding the MW3 multiplayer has been released. MW3 is said to have a "near-future" campaign, which according to Brian Crecente of Kotaku "will top anything seen before in a Call of Duty game." Sources have told Kotaku that the game might possibly have 20 multiplayer maps. However, of that 20, some may be cut for the release or even be released later in a Map Pack DLC. Additionally, the game will have a great mix of mission-based and survival Special OPs mode. So basically brand new developers. I don't think I'll get it until I actually play it and like it. My mistake on Black Ops was getting the game before playing it.
I think Infinity Ward makes all around better games (which also in turn has its fair share of glitchiness) and that the Modern Warfare style of games is more fun IMHO. But since Sledgehammer is making MW3, we have yet to find out if it will be similar to Infinity Ward.
So Raven Games is making the Multiplayer? Or at least contributing the most to it? I'm just saying right now that Black Ops is probably the last true Call of Duty game. MW3 will probably be alright, possibly more enjoyable than Black Ops, but probably not that great that it won't get beat out by something else.
