So I have 2 computers. The main one is a Dell Windows XP, and the other a GateWay from like 1999. We have SBC Yahoo! DSL (Ethernet) connection and we have a WiFi network. The older computer is in my room and I have a phone jack in there. This may sound noobish but, is there a way to connect my old computer to that phone line with a phone cord and connect to the internet?

You can connect to dial up. You can't use it as a bridge to your broadband connection. The only way it could be usefull is if you used the actual phone wire as a guild to pull down a Ethernet line and then make the end connections. But there is no known way to just use that line to connect to your modem/router. There aren't enough leads within the cable.
