The title explains it all. I JB with blackra1n on 3.1.2 and installed Mobile Terminal. It crashes on launch (shows for about 1 sec. first). I uninstalled and reinstalled about 5 times and it does not work. Any help?

Just use the full terminal, can't be that hard.

Plus, I don't see the point of terminal unless you're a dev.

If you're willing to buy it, you can download iSSH from the appstore, and set the hostname to "localhost".

I don't have a mac so I can't use full terminal and without MobileTerminal I won't be able to SSH into my device. I would love to use ifunbox which I usually do, but it picks up my 3.1.2 JB as a 2.2.1 (jailed). :S And what's more, although it says jailed, when I click on...saaay...pictures, the top says in yellow that my iPod has not been JBroken, yada yada yada. Wtf?

Mobile terminal is not just useful for hacking but also accessing other devices aside from the iphone va SSH. Such devices like cisco routers, switches and any other form of network device that uses SSH to connect to it. I have the same issue and have also purchased pTerm from the app store. None the less I like mobile terminal access straight onto the iphone.

I'm getting the same problem with the newly jailbroken 3.1.2 on my iPhone 3G. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Geohot posted a link on twitter to solve the iFunbox problem. I think studangerous posted the link in his blackra1n faq thread. It was either a link or just a copy/paste of the solution itself.

I had the same problem. I got it to work. I simply re-installed all my packages, i installed on cydia. Like "core utilities" or "diff utilities" "erica utilities" "file-cmds". I think after upgrading you have to do this. I reinstalled everything in cydia, because it didn't work. So thats what i tried, mayba it can help you
