Just became a last.fm junkie, god help me.

Anyway, mobilescrobber whines and dies if you try to install it via installer on a 1.1.3 jb system. But, if you go to the website for it

    http://dev.c99.org/MobileScrobbler/

And follow the manual install, it works just fine

    http://dev.c99.org/MobileScrobbler/wiki/ManualInstallation

Note missing one thing in the step by step... you have to copy the System/Library/PreferenceBundles files over to your touch, into the /System/Library/PreferenceBundles folder.

Follow all the steps, and you're golden... I am streaming now, and the stuff I have listened to in the native music player is showing up in my status page too!

Edit: do a reboot after you finish if it doesn't seem to want to connect.

It worked fine for me on 1.1.3 using installer, I did get caught out by the settings being in the main iPod settings. And then I had to set it to on/off few times to activate it. Shamelist linked to in my sig.

Mine worked fine too, the only thing is the lyrics say unavailable on scrobbler and tunewiki. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Manually installed one is giving me lyrics - some of the more obscure artists have none, but it says it can't find the lyrics in tunewiki if that's the reason.

I just saw the beta repo post over at last.fm, sounds like that's a better way to go. However you get it, get it

Hmmm I'll play around with it tonight. I does tell me that it can't find the lyrics in tunewiki, but it shouldn't say that for all artists.

Yeah, I got the 1.4 version (and all it's beta releases) from the beta repo ( http://dev.c99.org/iphone-beta ), and it installed just fine. Although when my Installer was malfunctioning before, I did the manual install just like you did.

I am a last.fm junkie too; MobileScrobbler is literally the only reason why I bother to jailbreak.
