No matter how many times I try to kill the process "MobileMail", it will kill it and then immediately return! I'm not sure if it could be LockInfo that causes it to refresh unceasingly or what...HOW DO I KILL MOBILEMAIL PROCESS!

Are you using the command "killall MobileMail" in Terminal, or are you using SBSettings?

the reason it is constantly running is because it is looking for "fetching" new mail every 5 10 or 20 minutes etc..

set it to never in settings/mail

    Push for Mail app.

    Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Fetch New Data>

To turn it off set "Push" to off.
