I'm still debating getting a touch, but one of the biggest downsides I can see is that you can't download things (such as music and videos) from Safari. From what I understand, Safari can play music and videos within the browser itself. My question is, can you copy the file from the cache (wherever it may be) to wherever it needs to be to play on the iPod using MobileFinder (or any similar application)? This would be a great way to get around the fact that the Mobile Store can't download podcasts.

If this is possible, could you please list the locations of the cache (for reference) and the location of where the files would need to be?

im not quite sure, but i know that mobilecast works perfectly fine for the touch and can handle podcasts.
