If you're not farmiliar with Linux/UNIX terminals, you can just use MobileFinder.

    But, none the less:

    mv (move a file/directory)

    rm (remove a file)

    rm -rf (remove a directory)

chmod ### (change permissions of a file)

chown (change ownership of a file)

chmod -R ### (change permissions of a folder)

chown -R (change ownership of a folder)

    ldid -S (sign an executable)

    cp (copy a file)

    apt-get moo (epic)

I can't think of any more right now, lol.

telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl (works better on a full terminal)

How about the most important one?

    Code:
    passwd
(allows you to change your password, especially helpful with the SSH hack out there)

ls - list the contents of the directory you are in.

cd <path> - Change to a different directory

cd ~ - Change to your home directory (for mobile, this is /private/var/mobile)

    killall SpringBoard - Resprings

cat <name of file> - Will display the contents of a file. Useful for reading text files.

ssh <user>@<hostname> - Allows you to remotely connect to a terminal session on another *nix computer.

pwd - Prints what directory you are currently in.

uname -a - Displays information such as kernel version and architecture.

date - Displays the data and time

shutdown - Power off the iPod.

    halt - Same as shutdown

    reboot - Reboot the iPod.

Most useful command you'll ever use IMO.
