mobile safari on iPod touch and iphone

    hey does anyone else have the iphone also? The OS and mobile safari seem more snappy then on the iPhone. I wonder if its the product or the newer firmware 1.1

    no, probably because the iPhone has a faster processor than the iPhone. i think it was proven through the web browser (by performing calculations) that the CPU was roughly 620 MHz. anyone care to find this info so we can test the (assumed slower) CPU speed of the iPoT?'

    the iPhone apparently has a 620 MHz CPU, the iPoT is estimated at 400 or so.

    remember, it only takes about 65MHz to process an MP3, and about 300 to do real time video.

    so why does the iphone have more, does it hsve more b/c of the phone itself,
