I am a musician and I get a song in my head sometimes and I want to get the melody down pretty quick but no computer with a music application. thats a problem.

I think it would be sweet to have a dumbed down version of GarageBand or something (I saw the iphone guitar was not impressed) but a GarageBand like interface where you could do sheet music or a keyboard would be sweet. Perfect for making a song and setting it as a ringtone on your iphone on the go.

What do you guys think possible or not?

    try a 1GHz processor... ??

That is why you use a phone with a 1GHz snapdragon Processor..like an HTC HD2, EVO 4G or Desire!
That is fast enough to run something like a tabbing program.. that then could plays it through midi sound files! Computers used to run 1Ghz processors. 486 computers were even fast enough to play midi files.. as long as the program is simple enough. and the OS isnt chewing all the power!
