I havent sshd for a while, and i had gotten mobile finder for some time now. I went to ssh to backup my whole ipod and now it wont work. No matter what program i try it with. And when i use terminal, it tells me its trying to connect with mobile finder, which i have sense deleted. So i put it back and i still get this giant message and i cant ssh. This is a big problem, anyone have any solutions?

    this is what i get

A tad overdramatic? If the problem is because you don't have MobileFinder anymore, then reinstall MobileFinder. It is still in Installer, in the Productivity Section.

sorry for being overdramatic. but if i may quote myself " So i put it back and i still get this giant message and i cant ssh. This is a big problem, anyone have any solutions?" I did install it, and it doesnt work

so if its not mobile finder, then what would cause ssh and sftp to not work anymore? ive tried 3 diff locations, so its gotta be the ipod..

Sorry, I missed that the first time I read this.

It looks like you were trying to use the mv command. Am I reading that right?

Exactly what were you doing when the problem arose? What did you type into the ssh client? Can you connect via sftp?

i typed into terminal the following
    ssh 192.168.0.101 -l root
    and i got the error

i cant sftp it says error stream

i fixed the problem, i had installed openSSH from installer, and i unistalled it because the program never showed up in summerboard, so i reinstalled it and ssh and sftp works now. the problem was installing and uninstalling openSSH
