SSH into your touch and check to see if permissions are at 755, if they aren't then set them. After this try to launch the app

There is, but I don't know it off the top of my head, but an easier way is to navigate to

    Applications/MobileChat.app

then just select all the files, right-click, select permissions, then type in 755

    that's it

    lol hopefully it'll work

(usually most problems are permissions releated)

i set the perms and rebooted the ipod but didn't work

(note: mobilechat wasn't on the applications list, but chat.app was so i edited the perms in that folder)

I changed em to 755 and that didn't work so I tried 777 and this still didn't work

    Help?!?!

    chmod -R 755 /Applications/AppNameGoesHere.app/*

    Pop that in Terminal app.
