    Hi,
This maybe related to jailbreaking. Anyway I jailbroke my ipod touch around 3 weeks ago and all was well. I put my music and video files on and everything was good until when I turned it on suddenly all my music and video files were missing !!!!!!!! Everything else was OK. Turning it on and off hasnt changed the situations : (

I noticed just before it broke, a couple of times previously turning it on and off, it took a hell of a long time to boot up. This maybe unrelated!

When I connect to itunes now the 'other' files is around 10GB. It wasnt like this before. I presume this is all the music and video files. Is this related to a database problem? How do I resolve it?

    Thanks for the reply therobinsonato,

Where abouts are the music and video files?

Just thought on. I dont have a backup of the video files! A friend put them on for me. I suppose I can scp from the ipod to my PC. Do you know if thats possible?

Forgot to mention. The weird thing is, I hadnt even connected it to my pc before it broke. So there wasnt any syncing problems or anything. It was down to the touch : (

I guess that after deleting you just connect the ipod to itunes and it will resync?
