Missing Feature

    I remember Apple talked about and showed that there was a utility for at least the iPhone that allowed you to erase all of the data and lock your device. I wasn't sure if it was on the iPhone 2.0 or it wasn't even here at all.

    Yeah its there but only for microsoft exchange users.

    i'm sure that was for the iphone 2.0 so if you lost it you could erase it from your computer and lock it from being used

    Um, I believe you're thinking about the new & improved 'erase all settings and data' function under the reset menu in preferences... I'm running it right now, actually, it's been running for about 2 hours now. Seems to be VERY thorough.
