Recently upgraded/restored a jailbroken firmware to the latest OS, unjailbroken. However, despite restoring, the apps I had hidden (Weather, Settings, a few others I can't remember) remain hidden, not even appearing in spotlight. Any help? Really trying to avoid jailbreaking this time, was enjoying not having the damn thing crash every 15 min.

    You have to restore then.

that's been done haha. I think I mentioned it twice actually. Its actually kinda nice cause I don't want the stocks or weather apps anyway, but not having settings is a bit rough...

When you restore... dont restore to a backup.

trying to not lose all my stuff. I'm thinking about jailbreaking, getting Poof (is that still what you use these days?), unhiding the apps I dont want hidden, Backing-up, then restoring and loading from the Backup. You think that'll do it?
