That's the final design I'm going with for now.

The icons are from Glaskart and can be found in Cydia.

Ok, so I making this thing. I wouldn't call it a full theme though.

Concept: Rather then having a cluttered mess for a springboard, you could have one with just the most important apps you need and then use apps such as stacks, catergories and quick gold to locate anything else you might need. I also suggest having a clock widget in the space at top.

So it will minimize the springboard and keep everything neat.

This won't have any icons because A) I'm too lazy, and B) it will work well with any themes such as these:

Basically, any icon set with netural colors could potentially look good with this. I plan on making different colored(dark gray/black, bluish, greenish, and grayish) versions of this aswell so it could match well with other icon sets.

I'm also going to make the background less boring later. I might make a few simple icons aswell, but I'm no good at that.

So, what do you think? Crticise the hell out of me.

Edit: I made a quick gray version of it: http://www.ifans.com/forums/imgcache/15284.png

Urgh, the red version looks horrible, the grey version looks much better but still its not there.

    Also the dock is fugly.

Its a good concept which has been done before, but non-the less its still good. As you said the widget space is good aswell.

    Erm..just wipped up this:

You need to experiment with the colours of the dock, icons, wallpaper etc etc. Make the colours work well together. So they look good together.

    I actually love the dock!
    I think it's clever

Not a fan of the wallpaper though, there seems to be too much shadows.
I would prefer a plain background, but that's just me

BTW, the gray version looks awesome as well.

    Great work!

I forgot all about this. Sorry lol

Thanks for the advice, I'm gonna work on it some more now to improve it.

BTW, the "icons" I have in up there was just to show how it all would set up. I will get rid of them later on.

I like the minimalistic style. This is a great concept, and if you weren't so lazy to make those icons, this would be a high end theme. I enjoy the clutter free idea and would definately be interested in a finished product.

Wow, I still like it. How did you guys get so good at image making in photoshop? I don't understand how to get the nice shapes and shadowing. Also, drawing the icons must be hard. Great work.

Basically over time you learn all the tricks. Read some tutorials around the internet and soon you'll have a general understanding of how everything works.

Thanks. If I had time I would've made a few icons. Glaskart goes great with this though.
