whenever someone posts this, people say "whats the point?"

there are many reasons one would want this:

    1) it not only allows you to use the interface of a computer, it allows you to work and save like a computer, resulting in a much easier interface for some things

    2) it allows you to use applications for the old mac computers that the ipod doesnt have, like a decent word processing.

    3) its a f*****g computer on an ipod, I dont care if its the most pointless thing ever its kick ass. I mean whats the point of a nes emulator? theres much better things on the touch than nes! but people want the nes games too, just because its more advanced doesnt mean people want it more.

ipod/iphone is already a computer. I'm sure the DS port has none of the functionality that makes this truly interesting.

some folks have no concept of what it takes to port certain projects.

you would not see this port anytime soon

very true. i have a ds lite, so i will try to port it. it is a very simple application, but would be extremely hard to port it. i think actually this is also on the psp.
