    Hey guys,

I'm thinking of selling my old iPod Touch (fresh restore) without any of the programs on it and using the money to buy a 2G. If I get the 2G, can I sync all of the apps from iTunes to the new Touch without any issues? Or are the apps associated with only one iPod?

    How does that work?

You shouldn't have a problem with your apps on the new ipod. I just got my 2g yesterday and as soon as I hooked it up to my pc, it automatically sync'ed all my apps to it. The apps are linked to your apple id not your ipod.

Hmm... another question for ya then... if I am selling my iPod with firmware 2.1 on it, and the person who buys it goes to restore at some point, will they have to restore back to 1.1.5? Or will it keep 2.1 on the iPod I sold them?

im guessing itll stay on 2.1 but if they havnt bought the update that if they upgrade to like 2.1.1 in the future they would have to pay the 10 bucks
