just don't upgrade... unless you don't jailbreak, there's no real point in getting updates unless there's a specific feature you are interested in. I got 2.0.2 just because my iPod wasn't jailbroken at the time.

Like the appstore apps/iTunes media then yes nothing will delete.
But the jailbreak stuff you downloaded then that will be all gone.

To make this work, all you have to do is:

Update your iPhone/iPod Touch to 2.0.2
Jailbreak with QuickPwn because QP doesn't get rid of any MEDIA from iTunes. (Unless you have a cracked app

    I Hope this help.

Think of it this way, a 2.0 firmware is rather unstable, It crashes on me an average of twice a day, and we don't have wifi at my house, so that's without using the internet. I've heard that they sorta fixed that in 2.0.1, and they probably fixed even more of those bugs in 2.0.2. The longer you wait though, the more jailbroken apps you'll get on there, and the more you'll lose when you do eventually update. I would advise wait until you have a couple hours of free time, back up your ipod, update, and then rejailbreak it.
