So I sold my old iPhone3GS with 3.1.3 firmware and the 5.12.07 bootrom to an Asian man. I used that new cydia thing (forgot what was it called) and it said it was unlocked. Guy calls me up and says its not unlocked. He's steaming and threatening to call the police. This transaction was done on craigslist. I'm pretty much screwed, please someone help me.

Maybe you should go to jail because what you did is basically fraud.

Say sorry and get the iPhone and try unlocking it again. If it doesn't work give him his money back.

Just explain the situation calmly to him, offering a full refund.
