When running Quickfreedom do I need to have Microsoft Visial C++ installed?

    Many thanks

Also is it worth renaming custom firmware to original firmware and placing in iTunes folder before restoring ( still having problems)

it will work as long as you have the redistribute package.

Yes, but if you have windows it should come with it. Plus why wouldn't you want to install it?

im having loads of problems with it....

I have tried EVERYTHING to get QuickFreedom to work but with no joy.
It allways works fine up to the point where Itunes is preparing to restore the custom firmware. Then I get a message ( error 1604) telling me that it cant restore! EVERY TIME.
I guess Im just clutching at straws, the last couple of times ive tried QuickFreedom with out c++ so Im gonna try it with C++ now,

    Cheers for your help fellas
