This is a discussion thread for the "Microsoft Fires Back at Google With Its Own 'Winter Cleaning'" story posted on the front page.
As far as I know Active Sync will continue to work if you had already configured it before the cut-off date, something not metioned in the article. In other words, the thing to do is to not reconfigure your device to use some other protocol.
Not very related to post but I like outlook.com more than gmail .. outlook is so clean and amazing ..
As if I wasnt frustrated enough with Google already. I've been trying to hide or get rid of my "All Mail" folder since apparently Google feels that it has to archive every single email, even the ones I dont care about. I've been trying to figure out how to hide it with Exchange but apparently it cannot be done and now they pull this crap.Hotmail sucks. AOL is ancient. GMail in general is pissing me off.I'm really tempted to give outlook or iCloud a shot. But that also means changing my email address for EVERYTHING. Ugh.
