Ok so I am using MewSeek and it saves files in /var/mobile/media/downloads and MewSeek has created a folder called MewSeek. It does not save the files in that folder (wierd) and now I have noticed that it has made 71 folders inside itself also called MewSeek with one same downloaded song in each (lots of space taken up). When I try to delete it says Cannot delete because MewSeek is in use. I do not have mewseek open or pwnplayer. I also tried rm *MewSeek* in terminal but it says cannot delete because it is a directory.

I have a 1st gen ipod touch running 2.1 firmware.

Any suggestions?I have also tried uninstalling both mewseek and pwnplayer and deleting no luck

ok so I solved the problem, what I had to do is go into each folder and delete the song and then starting from the end delete the folders and work your way back.

As for gitykins I was only using rm would rm -rf help?
