Watching y'all heedlessly hurtling yourselves onto this iPhone 1.1.3 jailbreak is like watching salmon swim upstream to spawn.

Mind the bears, and good luck. I think I'll spawn in February

And truth be told, I am loving 1.1.3. Tonight after work, if I have time, I am going to finilize everything, write up a how to, and start resyncing all my music, videos, etc over. Hopefully it makes those waterfalls a little easier to swim up.

Skylar, I really hope so - I am one for waiting, but a "how to" might just put me over the edge

So it's actually worth doing, even going off the iPhone image? I was pretty much going to hold off until a touch-image was released. Wiggly icons and google guessing where I am within a few hundred feet just don't seem to be all that critical. Now if you tell me I can "play all" video or audio podcasts, I'm there

The 1.1.3 jailbreak didn't work on my 1.1.2 jailbroken iPod

Something about it being an iPhone image makes me nervous. I wouldn't want to go through all that and lose everything later when the iPot version comes out.

Why do you have to re-sync your music/videos/photos over? You shouldn't have to do this.

Who cares. The iPhone and iPod Touch firmware are pretty much the same, except the iPhone has a few MORE options than the iPod Touch.. (Which you can just get rid of).

I'm sure you'd have reason to worry if the iPhone had less features than the iPod Touch, but that's not the case.

There are differences, and I don't need to be the first, so I can wait

Let's see how it holds up for a few days, and/or if the touch version comes out. Y'all can be first.
