Memory Problem...

    I have the memory thing on my status bar, it is never above 20.. ever . it used to be 50.. all the time

    idk what i did, i used to run, beejive, tweetie 2, facebook, and safari all at once seamlessly. now i can barely do beejive. what do i do>? is there something known to do this i could have installed>?

    get sysinfo from cydia check if you have daemons in the background hoggin memory. some winterboard themes hog alot of memory as well.

    have you tried rebooting your ipod to clear up app usage in the background to see if that improved performance?

    check whats running in the background with SBSettings processes widget thingy.

    Close everything that your not using.

    also you said that you ran them all at once? are you using backgrounder or another app to run apps in the background? obviously if you are running many apps like that at the same time you'll head into some performance issues.

    reboot does nothing.
    sbsettings processes, nothing
    backgrounder, however, i cant run more than one app because when it boots up, it is at 12mb

    btw, ipod touch 2g 3.1.2 blackra1n jb
    GRIP, PogoPlank, sbsettings (random things.. maybe problems?

    Well there's your problam....

    Both of them use a lot of memory, and theyre always running. Get rid of one or both.

    its weird though, they didnt used to be a problem..
