My Categories crashes ALL... THE... TIME... after categorizing 10 apps or so.

The memory starts around 37, goes to around 25 when I get to the folder, than around 14 when I get to the list of uncategorized apps, and then crashes around 7. Any tips?

    Umm... Don't use categories? Lol...

I always had problems with the interface for it, specifically when choosing the folder's icon... It seems if you do too much in that interface without respringing then it gives you smack.

As for the actual folders it creates, never had an issue there...

Any other app like it that doesn't crash?

I've also found that not all apps I put in a folder show... what's the limit per folder?

Nothing exactly like it, but stacks is nice if you only need one folder =]. I (at one point in time) just used stacks to separate my games from the rest of my junk...

Categories is nice, but is pretty buggy.

And I've had TONS of apps in folders without it giving me problems.

Well I have the apps categorized by folders (have about 100 more left to categorize). The ones I use remain on the springboard (80 at a time or so) and then I just store them back in folders and uncategorize the new ones I want to play.

That way, the progress on apps is not deleted as it is if there's a sync.

There's also not this syncing and deleting back and forth, and I have access to everything at any time.

God, you are just filling up your device with junk & trash. No wonder it crashed.

If you call everything they sell at the App store junk and trash...

You must not play a lot of games that have to be restarted if you delete them. Puzzle Quest, The Quest, Zentomino, TanZen, Combination, Nurikabe, etc. If you delete from the Touch, the save is deleted also.

Can someone please help? I restored back to factory then did jailbreak again and didn't install categories. Still crashes while syncing. Tips on what it could be? Thanks!
