MC model?

    how do I know if I have an MC model?

    its a 2g Ipodtouch
    model no is PC086LL - I read somewhere it should either say MC or MB in the model, but it has neither

    PC is the same as MC, it has something engraved on the back doesnt it?

    J-Phone: has all kinds of stuff engraved on the back - a Bday greeting + "property of", the apple, ipod, 8gb and some "made in", "designed by", etc...

    Ekriirke - did that, that's where I got the model no., but its still unclear to me how to figure if its MC or not

    i told you a PC is the same as a MC, it just has a personal engravment on the back.

    ah, ok, sorry. Thought you were asking as if having sthg engraved shows its MC or not. Thanks

    one more thing - I read some other thread where you said JBing an MC model will make it "tether". meaning? might be my lack of some English words
