I've tried just about all of the methods, but I can't seem to j/b my iTouch 2g, MC model, 4.1.

Has anyone with the same device found a successful untethered method?

greenpois0n is supposed to jailbreak it, but that doesn't work for me and a lot of others. I just gave up and downgraded is 4.0, I advise you to do the same if you really want it jailbroken. 4.1 doesn't really add that much tbh.

GP will ONLY not work if you don't do it right, I jailbroke hundreds of 4.1s last week for my neighbors, and none of them failed. Here's a tip to make it 99% work.

DONT rely on the countdown timer in the Green Poison App. First, Open Up GP, Connect via USB, Jailbreak it, and when it says hold the power/home, only hold until you get a sound from your computer. When your screen goes black you WILL hear a sound from your computer, that's the cue to release power. Keep holding home, and just wait until it finishes.
