I'm already Dual-booting Vista and Xp.

Can I triple boot Xp\vista\and Ubuntu?

If so, will it cause any problems?

Vista is on a 104gb partition, and xp is on a 36gb one.

Of course you can Triple Boot. You can choose to use either GRUB or the Windows Boot Loader. Its not really that hard. Just back up, just incase of course. If you're already dual booting XP and Vista, you could just use Wubi to install Linux.

Though I have a question: Why have both XP and Vista?

    Okay thanks,

and..I used wubu before..but with the base Ubuntu

Is there anyway to install Lusty Leopard with Wubu?

Oh, and I use XP because its super fast (its a not totally legal stripped down copy) and I use it when I don't feel like waiting for vista to boot up.

Just download Wubi http://wubi-installer.org/. Run it, Select the ISO/CD/DVD, and go. Why don't you just Use XP if you don't really like Vista?

Sweet! Thanks, I wasn't sure if I could install it using the LL iso

This wont interfere with my dual boot at all will it?

and I LOVE vista, I like it a lot more than Xp.

But sometimes, I need to write a school paper, or do research for something. and I don't need all the programs\IM\iTunes\games as a distraction lol

So, I guess you could say XP is like a uber fast study corner for me

Hmm..I would like to get rid of it.

Couple of questions (I'm on my phone, or I'd google around)

Whats the equivalent of Word or Powerpoint in Ubuntu? If there is one.

Can I just delete the XP partition? and nothing else?

There are tons of alternatives to that Microsoft Ball & Chain.

    • Google Docs (Online)
    • Adobe Buzzwords (Online)
    • Go-OO - Slimmer/Faster version of Open Office (Linux/Windows)
    • Open Office - The original (Linux/Windows/Mac)

    All can read Microsoft documents.

I'm not sure about that. Windows can be quite tricky. As I tell other people, back up important information before you do anything that messes with any of your OS' just incase.
