Do you think that the massive amount of people that try to download IOS 4 (because its free) will crash the apple server. And if it does how long do you think it would take to download

Just wait a couple days. I'll be waiting it out til most of my jailbroken apps are fixed. e.g., Winterboard, iFile, Categories(?), etc.

Of Course it will! I am sure that the download speeds will be like so slow we cant bare to watch it. Since its free it will be worse than 3.0 was launched!

I don't think it'll be too bad this time. They know the demand.

I agree with JKK unless the "demand" things are really publicity stunts. Plus 1G iPhone & iPod touch owners are out of the loop (sadly).

    Not funny.

And if the demand is high then supply is a must to satisfy the customers.

Also (I hope I'm right on this) I believe Apple installed a server farm in South Carolina recently, so I'm sure that will help (essentially splitting the US in two for downloads, maybe?)
