March 13,2008... Categories

    Whassuppp!
    Needa little help in categories..
    I really don't like the apps icon that they made on there, it's squared!
    Is there any way I can replace those icons to my own icons?

    Yes, just add an icon called "Apps" to whatever theme you're using.

    Create an "Apps" folder with Categories, then SSH to /private/var/stash/Themes.xxxxxx/[YOUR THEME'S NAME]/Icons and place an icon named "Apps.png" in this folder, then respring.

    I think he meant the app icons inside the categories folder (?)

    Oh! Now I feel stupid. Completely misunderstood you, sorry.

    You can apply themes inside Categories folders. Tap the "i" in the bottom right of a Category (i.e. "Apps") and it'll give you an option to apply a theme.

    I am veryyy lost

    I create an "Apps" folder..It's on springboard now.. Then what do I do next?

    nvm got it
    I just went to the folder I wanted my icons in and clicked on the "i" and went down to icon theme andselected the one I wanted.

    Hit the i, and select a theme. If you don't the icons will be squared. There is no way to apply the AppIconOverlay and Shadow without them being on the SpringBoard.

    And fail. It's 2009.
