I use the Maps app a lot and really like the offline map viewing capability since in Spain there aren't a lot open Wi-Fi spots.

I downloaded some Maps with GMDT and was able to use it succesfully with Maps Offline, and also making this cache file bigger when viewing maps online. So every time i was online i made this cache bigger so i could see more when offline.

But now i don't know why every time i get online it "resets" the maptiles.sqllitedb file (it doesn't delete any file since it is linked, it just creates a new one) so i can't update my BIG cache with new maps, but can still use the old one offline. I think is has to do something with that it does't want to use "old" map files... but I am no sure about that. But it is annoying, i was so happy with it and now i can't update my cache adding new maps.

Does anyone know why this is happening now and if there is any way to avoid the map app to create a new cache?
