Is it possible to manually upgrade my 8g itouch to a 16g. music library is building up and i don't want to spend another 200 bucks on another. Or would you think an Apple store would do it so i don't void my warranty. Let me know thanks!

i doubt the apple store will do it they will want you to buy a new iPod. You might be able to find replacement part and open your iPod and install it manually though.

apple def wont do it but...
u could do it yourself but it is not recommended, it is a nand flash chip, so u would have to unsolder the old one and solder a new one on

i found a tutorial somewhere on opening it up, and apperently, the chips are stacked on top of each other in 4gb pieces.

If you happen to find that tutorial again it would be wonderful.
