Hi. I have no wireless at home so i try to get jailbroken apps and add it manually to ipod touch via SSH, but it seems that it never shows up on the screen! The categories app recognises the apps, but even if i put them in a folder and open it, it just goes back to springboard! Can anyone help me?

Best Guess: Put in Themes, to show up?

If not, may not have springboard icon. In which case, look in WinterBoard.

    If not, look in SBSettings.

    Install those first?

It's because com.apple.mobile.installation.plist needs to be rebuilt, for new apps in /Applications to appear on the springboard.

as for the opening and closing, there might a problem with the permissions, use the chmod command on the app in terminal

I think gUI cache doesn't work on 3.0
