Though it is not exclusive to iPod Touch, but without having to use a program you can manipulate your own PC online at www.logmein.com All you have to do is install this program to the computer your home computer and set a username and password for it. Then, with your touch, go to www.logmein.com and you can login and as long as you left your home PC on, you can actually physically manipulate your PC from your touch.

You may know programs like VNC that do the same, but since there is no VNC for Touch yet, LogMeIn is a good FREE solution that I highly recommend. Enjoy and knock yourself out!

it doesn't work on the touch, you can't do anything from your touch because it requires java and stuff.

There is VNC for the iPod Touch available through the installer.app

But it's pretty basic at this stage, no text input.

did anybody manage to use logMeIn? It says, that you need some kind of plugin or java. I guess it is not possible to install the plugin and the iPoT does not have any java, right?
