does anyone know when MAME will come out for ipod touch. Better yet does anyone know how to convert MAME roms into NES roms and if that is even possible? i have galaga for the nes but i think that just might be a regular nes game even though i believe galaga was originally an arcade game.

Anybody finds this out for me, i'll add to your rep. simple as that. thanks in advance.

    Conversion isn't possible.
They're two totally different types. It's like converting mp3 to .pdf.

What games are you looking for?
I'm sure there's an "arcade classics" game for ONE of the systems out.

firstly, is this a joke, cuz it's not funny.

second, there's no download link at the site you gave me so even if i did no how to "build it myself", which i don't i wouldn't be able to anyway.

third of all, it looks like everyone that wants this is just gonna have to wait till the SDK. By then, hopefully the iPhone DevTeam will come up with some custom firmware that lets you download all the apps on the SDK for free or something like that.

It wasn't a joke - the source code to working mame for the iPod touch is on that page. It is a simple process of building the source and putting it on yourself. It isn't my project so I am not releasing it.

Do you have a compiled working version?
