Malfunctioning itouch help!!!!

    Malfunctioning ipod touch help!!!!

    Whenever i connect my itouch to my pc i get an error saying "One of the devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it"...so this means i cant do anything with my touch...not even charge it...i connected it to my sisters laptop and the same message appeared to i know its not my pc...i jus happend out of nowhere and i havent dropped it prior to the message...the last time i dropped my itouch was months ago so i know its not that either...any help from anyone?...thanks in advance

    FOR THOSE WHO HAVE SMART REMARKS WHY BOTHER???

    yea...buts its been jailbroken for a while...months...so why "malfunction" now all of a sudden

    no its not that...im certain of it...if that was the case i dont think any message would have appeared because my pc wouldnt have known a usb was trying to connect...but since it did notice something was there, that means the cord works

    Try reinstalling the iPod drivers maybe?

    put the ipod in DFU mode, if you jailbroke you should know how, and let it reinstall the drivers, then do a hard reset to get it to boot again, thats my only help for you, adding on to what retro said lol
