    Hey guys

If any of you have played around with MXTube you may have noticed that if you download a movie, transfer it to your computer, then upload it on a server it opens up in quicktime on the iPod Touch. I think it works because the movies contain the YouTube authorization key needed to play. Also the trailers at apple.com open up in quicktime too.

Anyway does anyone know how to get videos that are uploaded on a server to open up in the quicktime player on the touch? Is there an app or encoder available? This would open up many possibilities for video streaming on the touch/iphone.

    Thanks

Just an add-on to this thread....
I frequent CNN.com and was wondering the same- how do I get the videos on CNN.com enabled?

If you upload the video as an MPEG-4, you'll get that Quicktime arrow that pops up on the page and they can view the video on a seperate page.

I don't know how to embed a video in the page as an MPEG-4 and get the iPod to recognize it as embedded.

But hey, what do I know?

Encoding it in MPEG-4 worked great. Thanks.
