Making Speakers LOUD?

    Well, now that we have the 2G Jailbroken, how do we make the speakers louder?

    Well there are some mods for that but those are for previous versions. I'm waiting for a 2.2.1 speaker mod.

    Is that necessary? I mean, jailbreaking voiding warranty or not, if you bust the speakers, you are SOL, either no speakers or you take it back and deal with the Geniuses. That won't end well, and they will not take back an iPod because of a blown speaker, which can cause further problems down the road. Best not do that.

    Edit the songs on itunes to full loudness. No idea if this affects speaker noise (most likely not), but it's worth a try.

    I'm pretty sure that the speaker life will be drastically reduced if you find a way to do this.
    But a tad louder would be golden.

    Just found this on cydia it says it works with 2.2 and 2.2.1, its called Volume Boost by iFoneguide.nl don't know if it works haven't tried it.

    you have to add the source

    I tried it and couldn't hear a difference. It seems to old bypass the volume limit you can set in iTunes yourself.
