I can't find any other threads for this,

I was wondering how to make the 3D models to put into my app.

I have seen the cars in Need for speed undercover and real racing apps and i would like to know how i can make those 3d models (not the same models but my own models)

I uuse google sketchup but i feel limited...

I have seen blender and that looks extremely complicated.
all i want to do is make a nice little 3d model with nice surface and shape and colours to put in my app.

    Any suggestions?

(i cant afford to get the adobe programs if they have any 3d modelling software... so its probably going to have to be a free program)

Well for sio2 it uses the blender 3d program to export the files into a readable iphone file for the sio2 framework

i see, but this means i dont have to do any designing with blender, only exporting?

Also, is sio2 and blender work in vista and mac?

Edit: i see this is not for commercial use... so how will i use this in my apps if i have to mention, and how do i mention too?

    Sorry for so many questions.

If it says it's not for commercial use then you need to contact the owners of the program in order to sell your app. If you don't they could take legal action against you.

Blender is quite good from what I've heard.

Of course it's gonna be complicated, but will probably do the work.

lolwut? Making 3D models is complicated. You either need to deal with it, or do something else.

Use Blender, it should be easy enough to figure out.

you don't need any license to sell you sio2 games. The only license you can buy is 99$(49$ until next version), and the only difference is that you don't have to have a sio2 splash screen for your game/app. The license was made to keep the project alive

blender works on booth on mac and windows. sio2 is just code so that's only for mac currently. Porting it to windows have been considered, but there wasn't enough interest.
