I've got an idea for a game I'd like to try my hand at creating.

However, I am on Windows not mac. Does that mean I can't do so until I get a mac (after next keynote - I want to see if them macbooks are getting a tasty update first)?

    Cheers

    Malc

If you want it to be in the appstore, you need a mac.

You don't need a Mac to make apps. If you are on 2.X jailbroken, open Cydia and search for "iPhone 2.0 Toolchain" then do

mkdir /SRC (or w/e you want the directory of ur source code to be in)

then put your source code files into that directory

    then do:

cd /SRC (or w/e ur directory is)

    make

    Now do

mkdir /Applications/NameOfApp.app ( or w/e your app is called )

    now do:

    cp NameOfExecutable /Applications/NameOfApp.app

    chmod -R 0755 /Applications/NameOfApp.app

    ldid -S NameOfApp

Now put an Info.plist in the directory of your app, and do:

    killall SpringBoard

    and open your app.

maybe try dual-booting windows and leopard? search it on google and you can get the actualy leopard install files that are patched to work on a pc dual boot.

then you can use the sdk.
