As you can see in my other post (http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=306144) I am wanting to make a repo. Well... I have got my domain, and my hosting.

Can anyone give me a "dummies" guide on how to set one up and the easiest way to do it?

    MORE INFO:

I am running on a windows XP laptop with Ubuntu dual boot. But my hosting provider is:

    10GB space
    100GB bandwidth
    Linux server
    PHP
    mySQL
    subdomains
    FTP access

    Thanks, Invisible Man

    Heyy Invisible Man!

Kaishuoy is nearly correct, there is no point in making a new repository as there are tens of thousands swarming around, it would be a waste on your Space and Bandwidth.
However Kaishuoy forgot to mention that, it is pointless making a new repo unless you have something unique to offer., many repo's out there are just offering cracked Cydia applications and so forth, unless you have something new, you won't get a large fan-base at all.

But I don't want to put you down buddy, if you still really want a repo space, and have the EXTREME easy usage of uploading packages and editing them with ease, then please allow me to advertise the CORRECT website, it is not FreeRepoSpace; it is in fact http://www.myrepospace.com. This websites creates you a repo in seconds and allows you to convert packages into .deb files instantly, without the use of software or creating control files. I use it all the time, and honestly, it is one of the most fascinating websites I have ever seen.

Want to see an example? Add my repo at: http://cydia.myrepospace.com/CharlieMcShane

    Kind Regards
    Charlie McShane

Too many sh*tty repos with only one or two packages that are useless...
