i wanna make a new slider that is just a little lock. [SEE PICTURE]
the lock goes down the lines and then at the end there is a unlock sign.

what i want is for the slider to go underneath the unlock (the unlock is ontop of the slider layer) and it looks like the lock is gone and it is now unlocked?

can this be done (as in putting the layer over the top of the slider or something?)

    Thanks in Advance.

if someone could manage this it would be awesome

but im not sure how you could do it, maybe make 2 sliders? then just dont put the locked one on the top one so that you only slide the botton one

    but then....

Haha, I'm using my iPod to write this (got wi-fi yesterday)
It would be cool but I don't know how you would get 2 sliders
    Extra coding maybe?
We will see if anybody else comes up with something!

there must be a way, like how you can make a different wallpaper for each page, you could layer the sliders

put the pic of the unlocked lock ( the one on the right side) onto the lockscreen background and then have a locked lock for the slider

or put them both on the lockscreen background with a transparent slider

Here's an idea I was pondering which could be what you're looking for.

Have the unlocked lock on the right side on the background, like cjschriver3 suggests. Have it detailed so that it looks old but have the front part with the keyhole be dark black.

On the left, have a detailed skeleton key that gets black toward the tip. This way when you slide it forward it gives the illusion that the front of the key is going into the lock.

i can do it like this for you if you like or i can find another lock for UNlock and switch'em around

if you want me to make it functional i will need your LockBackground.png so i can put the unlocked right side lock on there

you can do it with a sliding key in between or do you like the idea of sliding the locked lock to the right?

What do you have in mind?

LOL, ur all being so helpful (never had this before).
The key idea sounds like it will work but I don't understand how the lock amsliding into the unlock will.
If cjschriver3 is willing to muck around with it for me, that's great.
Could I give u the lockscreen abit later on (gotta go to school) and could you try both ideas? Thanks for all you guys help!

it might be a bit big but there you go, so if you could do it and then i will see what you are talking about or if you could do it all, that would be even better!

    here try this out...

drop it into var/stash/Themes.xxxxxx (gotta unzip it first, then drop the .theme folder)

it ONLY contains your background with the right side (unlocked) lock and the slider is separate (key)

just turn it on in winterboard and it should work fine

looks like this on mine >>>

lemme know if you need any special tweaks..
mine is with transparent bottombar.png and no unlock text, etc...
