Would this require an application to do? I was told when Bluetooth first came out that people could use an exploit to force other Bluetooth phones to dial a number, so there must be a normal way to tell the other phone to dial, perhaps with an application? Anyone have any more information on this?

I wanted to do this to....

The thing is, apple just didnt include the profiles for it. There probably will eventually be a Jailbreak app for it.,

Just to add I stumbled on this:

    http://mirasoftware.com/BPE2/

A program called BluePhoneElite, that allows your Mac to dial your Bluetooth phone, then uses the Mac's speakers and mic to talk. I would think just dialing the phone should be even easier thing to accomplish. I would like to pair a bluetooth headset and my dare and just dial the dare through the touch.

I got the touch as a present and it seems to be going to waste since I dont play games, and while the contacts and music player are nicer, there is little point in carrying both.

    Small addition:
Apparently there was a software called Magic Blue Hack that allowed "j2me based bluetooth phones to dial other bluetooth phones. Since I wouldn't need the "hacking" portion done, does the Ipod Touch run j2me based applications?
