The Adobe CS5 has just been released, which allows all of us non-Mac-users to make iPhone/iPod Touch app, and even to sell them on the app store!!!

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think you can. Apple recently changed their developers agreement saying that essentially you can only make apps via the Apple SDK, or whatever method Apple provides. I don't know the technicals on it but I'm pretty sire on the above.

So although you can still make apps, Apple won't accept them on the AppStore. And because of this, Adobe says that there will be no development/updates for that portion of CS5 Flash (the app creator).

You can't use cs5 to make apps to go in the app store because the source code was not written in a C based language (as required by the new sdk agreement). Adobe has given up on the whole iPhone flash scene now so don't expect any updates on the situation

Its a shame. If the dev pays their $100 and the app works well, who cares how it was made?

Correction: It DOES NOT let you make iPhone apps, it lets you compile a FLASH app to run on an iPhone.

Did you not read the post you quoted? With CS5 you can make flash apps and then compile them for an iPhone. Its nothing like the iPhone SDK.
