When I plug my camera into my computer via usb cord everything goes fine for about 1-2mins but then the files sort of "disappear" they wont drag and drop cause it gives an error and when i close the window and try to go back to the usb drive nothing shows up even though i have multiple folders and tons of photos on the camera. Ive tried many things to fix this but just cant, ive done lots of googleing, if anyone can help it would be MUCH appreciated.

EDIT: flash drives just straight out dont work last time i tried

    Try it on another computer,

    Or

Take it to a photo/camera store because they usually have software for recovery of photos and they will burn them to a disk for you.

It works on other computers but like I said it's not only with the camera

Did you try another USB port?
if that doesn't work, try to find the camera's driver files
