I haven't seen anything like this before. Okay, so I boot like normal today - put it in DFU, use 1clickboot or the manual commands that we know have always worked. Now, there's a problem. Recently, whenever I try to boot, it goes to the silver apple logo for 10-15 seconds, right? Then once the Apple logo comes up, like normal, it stays that way for 15 seconds then shuts off instead of booting up. By shuts off I mean goes into tethered off mode where THE USE DEVICE CAN NOT BE RECOGNIZED, you all know what I mean. I'm no noob, I know how to do this right and have been doing it a while since jailbreak. Why is it doing this suddenly? What do I do?

And restoring is not a valid answer. Before it started doing this is it was fully charged too, so that's not the problem.

I am NOT going to restore and lose everything from my jailbreak. I have worked very hard on it. I even stated that in my first post. Thanks anyway.

Then you have no other option, I'm pretty sure.

boot your ipod into recovery mode, and open a shell with iboot. (you can use irecovery -s)

    send the command: fsboot

I sent fsboot while in shell, then continued the manual reboot like normal. Same thing happened at the end. Thanks though.

Oh, and CyWood didn't work either.

Any more ideas? Other than restoring, that is.

The thing is, there is no other choice for you, the same thing happened to me, I tried everything I could, but I had to restore.
