Major iPhone SMS Security Flaw

    This could of course be HUGE problem. Miller and Mulliner both contacted Apple around a month ago about the problem, Yet they received no reply. Starting Thursday, July 30th (Tomorrow) these SMS Messages will most likely be making their way to iPhones across the world. If you get a text message with only a single square character, Your best bet is to turn your phone off while you can.

    Hopefully Apple has already started patching this flaw and adding it in the 3.1 Firmware after being notified. Until then, Stay safe iPhone users!

    That is all Firmware. Apple better be quick with the firmware. Lucky I got an iPod. Please any iPhone user's out there. please be safe and aware.

    This is the first time, in a while, I've actually been scared of a security flaw in the iPhone firmware. I'm taking it that these guys are American seeing as they are going to Las Vegas.

    Sort of lucky I live in the UK although my device could still be targeted.

    iPods are invulnerable to this. ... Right?

    Correct. This flaw is directed towards the iPhones Text Messaging abilities. iPod User's should have nothing to worry about.
