So i am moving to europe mostly switzerland but will be traveling a lot throughout europe. And i have a iphone for rogers service (Canada). I was wondering if there is a way to buy a sim card plan in europe for the iphone and unlock my iphone and just slip the new sim card in? With out me buying a new iphone over there! So then i can pay for 70 or whatever a month over in europe!

First thing is to figure out if you can unlock your phone. There are a bunch of tutorials on how to check your baseband and see if it is downgrade-able (Link).

I'd start there and then make your decisions.
